(The American - Focus Features - Rated R)
In R rated The American, George Clooney stars as a skilled assassin who lets his guard down when he retreats to the Italian countryside.  Savoring the peace he finds in the mountains, he accepts the friendship of a local priest and pursues a torrid liaison with a beautiful woman which evolves into a romance. But by stepping out of the shadows, he may be tempting fate.


(Going the Distance - Warner Brothers - Rated R)
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long star in Going the Distance as a madly-in-love couple who tackle the challenges of a cross-country relationship.
Despite the opposite coasts, nay-saying friends and family, and a few unexpected temptations, with the help of a lot of texting, sexting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance. Christina Applegate and Ron Livingston also star, it's rated R.



(Machete - 20th Century Fox - Rated R)
From writer-director Robert Rodriquez, R rated Machete started out as a fake movie trailer between movies in Grindhouse.  Danny Trejo stars as Machete, a renegade Mexican federale and tough-as-nails vigilante for justice who is out to settle the score.  This also stars Robert De Niro, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, and Cheech Marin.

(The Dry Land - Besito films - Rated R)
America Ferrera, Ryan O'Nan, Melissa Leo, Jason Ritter and Wilmer Valderrama star in The Dry Land, the story of a soldier returning home from Iraq only to find that he cannot adjust to life back in Texas. Boise resident Heather Rae is the producer, it's rated R.




(The Extra Man - Magnolia films - Rated R)
In R rated The Extra Man, Kevin Kline escorts wealthy New York widows in the evening and during the day takes aspiring, cross-dressing novelist Paul Dano under his wing. John C. Reilly, Katie Holmes, and Cathy Moriarty also star.
