Johnny Depp stars in R rated Public Enemies as the notorious depression-era gangster John Dillinger, whose charismatic crime spree and audacious jailbreaks made him a folk hero to the masses. While his adventures thrilled many, J. Edgar Hoover made Dillinger America's first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Melvin Purvis, the dashing "Clark Gable of the FBI." However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis' men in wild chases and shootouts. Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard and Channing Tatum also star.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is rated PG. Manny, Sid, Diego and the rest of the computer- animated critters are back for their third prehistoric adventure -- this time in 3D! On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs.

Whatever Works opens Friday and was written and directed by Woody Allen. It stars Larry David as a cranky genius who begrudgingly takes pity on a Southern girl played by Evan Rachel Wood, and lets her stay at his Greenwich Village apartment. Soon her mother appears to rescue her, only to become beguiled by city life, men and art. it also stars Ed Begley, Jr, Michael McKean and Patricia Clarkson. It's rated PG-13.
