WOW!  What a GREAT couple of days I've had!
No, I didn't go see Privates of the Caribbean, but I did go to the Emerald City...Seattle, where I was able to find out such a film exists!

And THAT'S not the highlight!

The reason I went to said green metropolis was to preview  the new Oliver Stone film, World Trade Center, and then get five minutes with the director himself!

Upon receiving the invite to this exclusive get together, I nearly soiled myself!  Fortunately, for my washer's sake, I was able to contain.
I stayed at the new, wonderful, Hotel 1000, where the beautiful people stay.  Why I got to stay there is still a mystery to me.  My room overlooked the Pacific Ocean, and the bathroom had a tub that filled from the ceiling.
Wednesday night, I got to see the movie, which was wonderful!  (I'll give you the full review when it opens.)

After the screening, I was informed that the next day (Thursday) I'd be interviewing Oliver Stone, and two of the stars of the film, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Michael Pena!  In addition I'd also get to interview two of the real life people the movie is based on, Will and Allison Jimeno!

The next morning, I met up with a few other critics and we decided to take a trip down to Pike Street.
Yes, that's the wold famous Pike Place Fish Company.  You've seen it in a number of movies...it's where they throw the fish!  And it's also where I saw this cute little fella:
Ain't he CUTE???  (Wouldn't you like to meet the guy that first said, "Hey, I'd like to eat some of THAT!"  I bet HE was a guy you'd like to party with!)

Well, anyway, I also visited the world's first Starbucks, which was a thrill...for...some of the people with me...
Wow!  I know!  Pretty overwhelming!

When we returned to the hotel, we had a few drinks to prepare for our interviews, and then off to meet with the stars!
